Anytime soon winter will be over and the fact that everyone’s going to face a bright sunny day makes the need for sunglasses more promising. Okay, we do need to have sunglasses for the reason we have to protect our eyes. But it doesn’t stop there. Everybody knows the coolest thing about sunglasses is that while they protect us, they give us added urbanity and the privilege to go a little bit beyond the traditional. We see another world of fashion through those dark, smoky lenses and hit the streets with confidence with those chic frames. It’s totally undeniable that every style of sunglasses relates to and is coveted by many men and women of all age.

Everyone must be curious about where the trend for sunglasses directs to in 2010. The past year has brought in the classics like aviators and wayfarers to highlight elegance, glamor, funkiness, and whatever look they may serve to fashion. Although we believe that the above mentioned styles and the others are still drawing in many fashionistas, enthusiasts, and collectors up to this day, we’re still convinced that we have to know what styles are going to make to the pinnacle of fashion’s glory.

Designers, stylists, and fashion critics have predicted the sunglass styles that will be hip for this year are those with tinted lenses and fun, colored frames. Mr. Lohrbach, VP Sales of Crush and Kreed Eyewear pointed out that there will be “combination of the past meets the present with retro styles in metal aviators and plastics married to new style directions and great colors, color hits and color patterns. Both ends of the spectrum in frame sizes are showing up from the larger more rounded shapes to the smaller fun 50’s, 60’s and 70’s hippy meets IBM influences. Polarized lenses and multi grade lenses and lens tints matching with frame colors, logo’s and metal details are part of what makes the sunglass business more fun than ever before!”

Now that we already have a picture of what’s going to be all about for this year’s sunglass fashion, we might as well check what we have in our store, collection, and wardrobe. It’s important that we upgrade and adjust to the times so we won’t be left behind.
