Aviators still in style…
The "Aviator" style sunglasses, seen in the hit 80's movies Top Gun has been a favorite among many. The Aviators, originally used and designed for pilots in the Air Force and Navy because of the large lenses that would block out the glare of the sun during a dogfight. Glamorized in movies and TV Shows like Top Gun and CHiPs.
Today's younger generation is now jumping on the band wagon as this style has taken another breath of flight into popularity. The Aviator is back! This last week I has the privilege to work at the State Fair and noticed the increased inquiries for "Large Lens Aviators" among the fair goers. Every single fair goer asked specifically for large mirrored aviators!
